HEALTH & SAFETY

Security

At the Paul George Global School, security considerations are paramount. To ensure security and safe learning environment, the school provides effective surveillance and security systems that act as deterrent factors resulting in better group control and higher quality learning environment. High boundary walls, fire-fighting system, well trained male, and female security guards patrolling the area also makes the campus safe & secure. Each and every corner of the school is monitored with well-equipped CCTV cameras. To ensure the safety, security, and well-being of the children in our care at PGGS, we have procedures and standards in place to cover pick-up and drop-off, visitors, equipment, and furniture safety, and more. These procedures are periodically reviewed and updated to make certain they reflect the most current safety and security technology and practices.

Pick-up and Drop-off

Each child must be checked in and out every day. The attendance is marked first thing in the morning. All children are required to wear the identity card to school. In case a child forgets the card or in case of early dispersal, a gate pass is issued for the child before he leaves the school premises.

During dispersal, the child is handed over only after checking the escort card. If the collection card has been forgotten, the individual needs to get a gate pass issued. No child is released to an adult without proper authorization and identification.

Medical Standards

Parents are required to periodically update their child’s medical records. We maintain a complete medical record of immunizations and physicals for each child in our care. Pertinent health histories (such as allergies, chronic conditions, or susceptibilities) are also required. All health records, immunization records and emergency contacts are kept up to date and easily accessible in case of emergency.

Children are sent home if they are unwell. In case a child gets injured, she/he is taken to the infirmary and the teacher informs the parents.

Cleaning and disinfecting

PGGS staff thoroughly clean surfaces that children come in close contact with. In addition, many surfaces, including bathroom surfaces, are disinfected in a prescribed way. Toys are also cleaned and disinfected between uses.
